Ministries

New Eden is a place for ordinary people to learn about God in a non-judgmental setting and a place to raise children with the values that help mold responsible adults who love people and God. The truth of God’s word is relevant to all of life’s issues, at every age, and the following ministries were designed to reflect this:

Children’s Ministry:

Sunday Mornings: Education classes for all children are held at 9:15 am. Music, Bible teaching, games and crafts are all part of our children’s classes. During the 10:30 am service, children from kindergarten through grade 3 are involved in a separate Children’s Church during the sermon. A staffed nursery is also available throughout both services for infants through preschool.

Wednesday Evenings: Children’s Treasure Club is held every Wednesday, during the school year, from 6:30 to 7:45 pm. This program is geared toward children ages 4 through grade 6. The Bible is brought to life through drama, games, crafts, music and Bible teaching. All children and their parents are invited to come at 6:00 pm for dinner before the club program.

Youth Ministry

New Eden has an active youth group that is open to all junior high and high school age teens. Education classes are held Sunday mornings at 9:15 and every other Wednesday evening there is a “getaway” time for youth to get together for games and fellowship. Throughout the year there are service projects and activities planned for this group.

Adult Ministry

Education classes are held for adults every Sunday morning at 9:15 and 10:30. Discipleship classes are held throughout the year for all levels of spiritual maturity.

New Eden seeks to promote fellowship through a small group centered system modeled after Exodus 18. Small Groups, consisting of 6 to 12 people, are held in various homes throughout the week. It’s a place to get to know people, be cared for, learn more about God’s Word, and have fun. We will help you find a group that is right for you.

Music Ministry

At New Eden we have a praise team that leads the worship time during our contemporary service. The team generally includes guitars, keyboards, bass, drums and vocalists.
